I got this recipe from my good friend Jamie.
Sauce:
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. catsup
2 T. soy sauce
1 c. crushed pineapple(I used half a can tidbit pineapple and juice)
1/4 c. vinegar
Combine all sauce ingredients and heat until sugar is dissolved.
Cut up pieces of chicken and coat them in flour(I season the flour with pepper and garlic salt) Brown the chicken in olive oil. Place chicken and sauce in oven @ 350 for about 45 minutes. Serve over rice.Becky Petersonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06272668457961107560noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-285692264401830916.post-29683986927818631082012-06-23T17:29:00.003-07:002012-06-23T17:29:45.810-07:00Apple Snicker Salad
6 (2 1/4

Add salt, butter, and 2 cups of flour. Mix the dough on low. Add the rest of the flour a half cup at a time, until dough scrapes the sides of the bowl clean. Mix the dough about 5 minutes on medium speed, until its soft and easy to work with. Roll the dough out into a long log, spray a knife with cooking spray and cut the dough into 12-14 pieces. Roll those pieces into about 6 inch long snakes. Spray 2 large cookie sheets with cooking spray, and lay the breadsticks out leaving about 2 inches between each one. Place them in the oven with the temperature turned to 170 degrees. Let them rise for about 15 minutes, or until doubled in size.( I have also let them sit at room temp until they are doubled in size and then bake them in the oven) Once risen, brush them with the 1 1/2 T of melted butter and sprinkle them with salt. Now preheat the oven to 400 degrees and bake them for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. While they are baking combine the rest of the melted butter with 1/4 t garlic powder. When the breadsticks are golden brown, remove them from the oven and brush them with the butter/garlic mixture.Jamiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05627963096986530366noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-285692264401830916.post-3576937120639958462012-03-03T06:00:00.000-08:002012-03-03T06:01:29.064-08:00Instant Oatmeal Mix•6 cups quick-cooking oats
•1/4 cup sugar
•1/4 cup packed brown sugar
•3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
•1 teaspoon salt
•1 cup dried fruit or nuts, if desired (I used 1/3 cup of each of the following – golden raisins, dried apple, and dried cranberries)*** see note below
In a large bowl, combine all of the above ingredients. Scrape down sides with spatula, and blend about 30 seconds more. To cook, heat crepe on medium-high heat just hot enough to sizzle a drow of water. Brush lightly with melted butter. For each crepe, pour in just enough batter to cover the bottom of the pan, tipping and tilting pan to move batter quickly over bottom. If crepe has holes, add a drop or two of batter to patch. Cook until light brown on bottom and dry on top. Remove from pan and stack on plate. Makes 12 crepes. Fill crepes with coolwhip and fruit. Pudding or whatever sounds good. Yummy!Jamiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05627963096986530366noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-285692264401830916.post-70906730563315887852010-05-13T11:26:00.000-07:002010-05-13T11:31:48.711-07:00PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP BARS1 cake mix - yellow, white or chocolate
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips

Mix together the cake mix (dry), eggs, and oil.
